Well, the hair is still red, but it is a much nicer and darker shade. I won't be startled when I catch a glimpse of myself in the mirror. My girls are no longer calling me "purple hair". In fact, they keep looking at it and telling me they like it. I had to be out and about this evening and I got a few compliments. I won't know how it really looks until my sister Linda sees it. She is brutally honest, like me. It is refreshing though, knowing that someone will tell you the truth whether you like it or not. She is also willing to jerk a knot in my tail if I step on any toes. I never would have dreamed I would value the relationships I have with my sisters so much. I tell my children about it all the time. They will be even closer-I see glimpses of it already-in between the fights.
Well, it has been a busy day and tomorrow looks to be even busier so I shall be getting my rump off of this chair. Have a fabulous weekend.
PS- To my friend Steph S.-CALL ME!! I don't even know if you have time to call me between a new house and a baby that is probably starting to really get into things but I would love to hear from you!!!! There is a message from me on your cell phone!!
