All soda cans and bottles get recycled, too.
I try to use containers for sandwiches (when I can find the lids!!) rather than a ziplock bag we can throw away.

I refuse to have guilt over how much I do or doAmihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08353667980806676067noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15847139.post-5405810452662603832007-12-01T22:01:00.000-06:002007-12-01T22:01:00.000-06:00I have gotten to the point that I CANNOT throw awa...I have gotten to the point that I CANNOT throw away even one piece of paper. If I do, I end up going to the trash and getting it out and putting it in recycle. Same with any other recyclable items. And as for paper plates, I think I'm sick. We use them, but then I find myself going through the trash to clean them off and recycle them.

As for disposable diapers, I'm so not green. I reuse gift bags as often as possible and I would buy every household item or clothing used if I could find it. It wouldn't bother me a bit to receive a used present that was thoughfully chosen, but alas, most of the people I buy for do not share the sentiment. It drives my husband crazy to find "used" paper in the printer.Sandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01439225426404086767noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15847139.post-26029080266867822722007-11-29T20:25:00.000-06:002007-11-29T20:25:00.000-06:00And let me say, all I know about being green I lea...And let me say, all I know about being green I learned from my much wiser parents and sister. That's a lot of wasted gas. Dishes are my most dispised household task - we use disposable at all gatherings over 8 and at all meals after a new baby's birth. We can only do the best we can with all the other considerations. (I choose local over green when a choice must be made.) I know lots of people who try to do what is socially and Sarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13529249915048384723noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-15847139.post-46099392918844376642007-11-29T18:06:00.000-06:002007-11-29T18:06:00.000-06:00"It's not easy being green...."
